Police Seek Public Help to Identify Man Following North Lakes Business Robbery

Police are asking North Lakes residents to help identify a man they believe can assist with their enquiries into a robbery that occurred at a local business last month.



The incident took place on Thursday, 13 November at approximately 7.45pm at a business located on North Lakes Drive.

According to Queensland Police Service, the man departed the premises with several items without paying. Staff members who attempted to intervene were allegedly assaulted before the offender fled the scene on foot.

Authorities have released CCTV footage showing the man arriving at and leaving the business around the time of the incident.

The man is described as Caucasian, believed to be in his 30s, approximately 173 centimetres tall, with brown hair and a brown beard. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a grey hoodie, dark navy-blue shorts, black socks and white shoes.

Police are urging anyone who recognises the man or has information that could assist with their investigation to come forward.

Assault and Robbery at Lillybrook Shopping Village Carpark

A 63-year-old man was reportedly a victim of assault and robbery in the carpark of Lillybrook Shopping Village on Friday, August 30, prompting an investigation by local police.



The incident occurred around 8:30 PM in the parking area of Lillybrook Shopping Village overlooking Brickworks Road.

According to the victim’s statement, two men approached him in the carpark, where they allegedly assaulted him and stole his phone and watch before fleeing the scene.

Authorities have released descriptions of two individuals they believe may be able to assist with their investigation:

  • The first suspect is described as a male teenager with a solid build, approximately 175 cm tall. He has short, straight brown hair and was wearing a polo shirt and shorts at the time of the incident.
  • The second person of interest is described as a male with a slim build and short brown hair, also wearing a polo shirt and shorts.

The police investigation is ongoing, and authorities are appealing to the public for any information that could aid in solving this case of assault and robbery in Lillybrook Shopping Village.

Robbery in North Lakes: Police Appeal for Witnesses

North Lakes police are seeking public assistance following a violent robbery that occurred on Thursday, August 29. The incident involved a 17-year-old boy who was threatened with a knife and had his bicycle stolen.

Armed Robbery at Deception Bay Service Station

On July 5, 2024, at approximately 9 PM, a service station on Deception Bay Road fell victim to an armed robbery. The Redcliffe Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) is seeking public assistance in identifying the perpetrators.



According to police reports, two men were involved in the incident. One suspect, armed with a large knife, entered the service station and threatened two staff members. The employees complied with the armed man’s demands, and he fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. His accomplice was waiting outside during the robbery.

Fortunately, no physical harm came to the staff members during this alarming encounter.

Both suspects were described as wearing all black clothing and face coverings, making identification challenging. The police have released CCTV footage of the incident in hopes that members of the public may recognise the individuals involved.
